Blind Summit Puppet Company

October – December 2011

West Yorkshire Playhouse

I completed a six-week internship with Blind Summit Puppet Company, during my time with Nick Barnes and Mark Down I learnt invaluable puppetry making skills. In the first week of my internship I worked on the finishing touches of the cat puppet in Complicite’s The Master and Magarita. Then, we created the Puppets in  the stage adaptation of Louise Rennison’s  Angus, Thongs and Even More Snogging. These puppets were a large ginger cat called Angus and a toddler puppet named Libby. Also, During this time I attended puppeteering evening classes at The Little Angel Theatre.
